I am walking for kids with cancer
I am walking in memory of my son Toby; he was a fun loving, sporty, generous soul. He was diagnosed with a very rare type of Leukemia in Nov 2018 when he was 12yrs old. Throughout the 20 months of treatment was brave and courageous, resilient, kind and funny. He gave love and he is deeply loved and he lost his life to cancer in July 2020 at the tender age of 14.
I am walking for all those currently going through treatment for those in the future. I am walking to fund research and support all those families who need or will need kids cancer services .. I am walking for them too.
I am walking for kids with cancer on Sunday 29 March 2026 for Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF). Funds raised from Walk for Kids with Cancer will go directly to the frontline of children’s healthcare across the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, including the Kids Cancer Centre at Randwick and the Cancer Centre for Children at Westmead.
Together we can help find answers to rare diseases like childhood cancer, faster ways to diagnose, support clinical trials, help build clinical and patient family-centered spaces in hospitals, and create positive patient experiences for kids and their families.
No child should ever go through cancer but those who do deserve our all.
