I am walking for kids with cancer
I am walking for kids with cancer on Sunday 29 March 2026 for Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF). Funds raised from Walk for Kids with Cancer will go directly to the frontline of children’s healthcare across the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, including the Kids Cancer Centre at Randwick and the Cancer Centre for Children at Westmead.
Together we can help find answers to rare diseases like childhood cancer, faster ways to diagnose, support clinical trials, help build clinical and patient family-centered spaces in hospitals, and create positive patient experiences for kids and their families.
No child should ever go through cancer but those who do deserve our all.

Walk day
Sunday 29th MarToday, I completed the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) #walkforkidswithcancer, walking just under 30km along the Sydney coastline to Manly, under beautiful blue skies.
It was a great day, and I heard so many inspiring stories along the way, from groups walking in honour of a child lost to cancer; to groups who still have someone battling it; kids who've survived and now walk to help others; and chatting to Carol Wilson who's late husband started the charity walk but died before he could complete the 1st event, now at 79 she walks to keep a promise to her husband.
A wise person once said 'Only a life lived for others is a life worth living'.
So very grateful for everyone who organised, volunteered, walked or donated.
